How Darkclan works
Darkclan was a clan made up of former kittypets, loners, rogues and clan cats. Because of this mixture, many things were not the same as the original clans, or gang/loner groups. For starters, Names were not the same, Ranks were not the same, Knowledge was not the same, skill set was not the same and their fighting was not the same. The clan was meant to be evil, so I tried to make it as evil and 'strict' as possible.
Ranks
Leader- Pretty self explanatory. There is only one at a given time, and the position is to be held out until they die. Leaders may not retire to a fighter/ Trainer status or an elder status. They may only step down to heal from serious injuries. The position is for life once they receive it. The leader will receive FIVE lives from the Dark Forest only. If a leader switches over to the belief of Starclan, they are to be killed for their betrayal by the Dark Forest. Leaders may be either Male or Female, with age not being an important factor. Female leaders who have kits will not be allowed to drop their status to nurse. They are to remain leader and have their kits cared for by the other Mothers. Leaders do not train apprentices.
Assistants- Almost like the deputy, however they do not have the authority to declare war/battle or name cats. However they are free to punish whomever they wish. An Assistant may step down due to age or an injury if they so desire. If a Female Assistant has kits, she must step down from her position. (This does not stop her from being able to take the position back after nursing). The Assistant's main job is to be a support for the Leader and take over upon their death or when they are incapable of leading. An Assistant is responsible for putting patrols together and checking up on the status of the clan cats. There may be more than one Assistant at a given time if the Leader desires there to be two. The Assistant who held the position first/longest will become leader, and what happens to the other assistant will be determined by the new leader. Any cat who has reached the rank of at least Fighter may become an Assistant.
Curers- Like Medicine Cats, they are the cats responsible for healing the clan with medical herbs. There may be up to four at any given time if the clan is in desperate times. However the norm is usually two. The position is life long and they can not step down to elder status or Fighter status. If a Curer desires to have kits, they must drop to the Mother position (Unless they are Male). Only one Curer may have kits at a time, if two desire to have children (Male or Female) one must wait until the others kits are six moons old. When a Curer dies, the next in line will choose a new curer if needed. Only the elder of the Curers may choose a Fighter/Trainer to join the rank. They all work as a unit and divide their responsibilities.
Mothers- These are the queens, they are the females who have kits to nurse. When a Female drops to the rank of Mother, she is obligated to care for every single kit, not just her own. She may return to her former rank (With the acceptation of Assistant) once the kits have stopped suckling. This rank can not be held permanently, all Mothers must leave at some point. The longest a Mother can stay is six moons, around the time her kits would be upped. If a Mother dies, her children will be taken in by the other Mothers.
Trainers- These are the cats primarily responsible for mentoring. A fighter must prove themselves worthy to achieve this rank. All new apprentices will be mentored by a Trainer, who is to teach them everything they need to know about hunting, fighting and surviving. A trainer may have several apprentices at once, and decides when they are ready to be made fighters. Trainers may retire to fighter status, Mother status or Elder status whenever they desire, if they have an apprentice or apprentices they will be passed onto another trainer. This rank usually consists of cats around the age of Senior fighters, however it is not completely true.
Fighters- Self explanatory. These cats are responsible for defending the clan, feeding the clan and protecting their clanmates from danger. A Fighter may not mentor an apprentice unless they request to become Trainers. This position is not life long and can be dropped after at least four winters of service. A permanently injured or defected cat must drop down to the Elder Status. Fighters may live their life as a fighter until they die if they wish.
Apprentices- Self Explanatory. When a kit has reached six moons of age they will be assigned to a Trainer to assist them in learning to fight, hunt and survive. They are not allowed to become a Mother, Assistant, Curer or Trainer until they have achieved the rank of Fighter or Trainer. They can, however, drop to Elder status if they are incapable of preforming to a Trainers expectations. A cat must stay at this rank until they are made fighters, regardless of age (With the acceptation of the Elder rule).
Kits- Self explanatory. These are the cats who live within the walls of the Mothers den. A kit is any cat younger than six moons who need to be cared for. All kits will be cared for equally by each Mother, this included nursing and caring for orphaned kits. If a Kit breaks a rule, they are not to be fed for an entire day as punishment. Any kit born with a disability will be treated specially by the Curers. They are not allowed to leave the Mothers Den until they are three moons old, this is to ensure their safety. they may not leave camp until they are apprentices.
Elders- Now, after reading all of that this sounds like the worst rank ever. However that is untrue. Any cat who reaches the rank of an Elder will be cared for by the entire clan. For those who retired at an old age, they will be given the most respect. If a Leader and their Assistant/s die or are incapable of leading, the responsibility of the clan will rest on the shoulders of the five oldest cats until a replacement can be found. Elders who retired due to age are allowed to become Fighters, Trainers, Curers, Assistants and Leader. Elders who retired due to injury or disability may not up rank. Young elders are responsible for changing the bedding for the older Elders and Mothers. They may leave camp
Assistants- Almost like the deputy, however they do not have the authority to declare war/battle or name cats. However they are free to punish whomever they wish. An Assistant may step down due to age or an injury if they so desire. If a Female Assistant has kits, she must step down from her position. Names
When an apprentice is moving up to the rank of a warrior, They will receive the suffix part of their name from the leader of the clan (You can pick it or the leader can). When they are born, they will only have a first name. (Elders who never became a warrior will not have a suffix added to their names)
Example:
Honey, Jack, Daisy, Maple, Donny, Fox, Ant
Upon becoming a warrior, they will receive a suffix that related to them. It will point out either their best physical trait or their best emotional trait.
Example:
Honey's Nose, Jack's Voice, Daisy's Heart, Maple's Bite, Donny's Laugh, Fox's Speed, Ant's swim
You may call them either by the Prefix or by the Prefix and Suffix. That is up to you. Their name will only change again if they become Leader.
Upon becoming leader they, will lose their Suffix and have it replaced with a title. This title will represent what the clan will remember of the said leader after they pass. Titles are given by the Dark Forest (You or the DF can choose)
Example:
Honey of the Light, Jack the Speaker, Daisy the Ruthless, Maple of the Peaceful word, Donny the Strong, Fox of the Lightning, Ant the swimmer.

Skills
Due to the extreme mixture of cats in Darkclan, their main set of skills are hard to determine.
Like how Riverclan has a set skill of swimming and Windclans skill is running.
The set skill for Darkclan will be their sight. They have incredibly good eye sight in both distance and darkness.
In addition, Darkclan would be known as the Unpredictable and Diligent
Of course, this is only for the future, as of now the mix is too great, haha.
As for hunting, they depend mostly on sight and smell, rather than smell and tracking. They catch mice, rats, rabbits and other rodents.

Birth and Death
Now of course, when there is a beginning somewhere there is an end. Death is taken seriously in Darkclan. If a cat dies, the Leader will preform a ceremony to dismiss the fallen cat to the Dark Forest, then anyone close to the deceased will take their body out of camp and bury them at the border. Depending on the rank, the importance of the ceremony differs. If a Leader or Curer die, the entire clan will be present to wish them a farewell. If a valued warrior dies, they may also have the entire clan present. Cats less important may only have close friends and family present.
When there is a birth, usually all Curers are present for the birth unless there are more important matters to attend to. Kits are usually named by the Mother and Father, however others may name the said kit with a parents permission. Kits are usually a sign of good luck, so their protection is taken very seriously.

Darkclan's Location
Darkclan resigns in the Pine tree are just behind Shadowclan. The main border between Darkclan, Shadowclan and Riverclan is a road. If you look closely to the map, you can actually see the road. Start at the dock in the lake and look up, you'll see a split road. You'll also see a road behind Darkclan Territory
Camp: The DarkClan camp is nestled in the midst of an abandoned campsite once used by the twolegs and their kits in Greenleaf, and now is seldom visited by them Logs and old scorched pits lay scattered about growing moss and harboring insect life while large, ancient trees, some rotting out and hollow while the roots of some open up beneath the earth, serving as the dens. An old oak with gnarled branches tears open the earth beneath it, serving as the nursery where Mothers care for the kits. A short distance away lias an immense fallen tree draped with moss, hollow and spacious on the insider serving as the Curer's quarters as well as the elders den at its far end where another hollow had formed in the thick trunk; vines and moss drape over the entrances to each. The other ranks of the clan make due with the spaces within rocky outcroppings piles about the site, rotten trees, and dens beneath the roots. And finally, at the far end of camp sits an old cabin, furnish with dusty twoleg objects and bunks that were abandoned to rot and a ruined totem pole outside that is about two foxlengths high from which meetings are called, and this is where the leader and their assistants reside. All around their eerie camp lies many other remnants of the twolegs, and some objects may prove useful.

Punishments
For those who break a rule or betray the clan, punishments are very harsh. They can range from being locked in camp for a moon to being killed. The worst thing a cat could do is turn away from the Dark Forest for Starclan. This is punished by a public death. The leader will be responsible for killing them in camp. Minor punishments such as keeping cats locked in camp or keeping them from eating may be preformed by the Assistant/s.
Darkclans Code of Life
1) A Darkclan cat must follow the will of the Dark Forest without question, those who fail to will be publically exicuted upon the behalf of the Dark Forest.
2) Leaders are to serve their clan until their death
3) Only Trainers are allowed to mentor apprentices
4) The well being of a kit lies in the paws of the Mothers. Should a kit die from being neglected, the birth Mother will be punished.
Im lazy ill finish this later lol

Vocabulary
The vocabulary in Darkclan is more close to a kittypets. Because there are more loners/kittypets/rogues, the clan would know a lot more human based terms
